SALSA – A tool to develop learning outcomes/objectives and syllabus



SALSAs are Styled & Accessible Learning Service Agreements. It could help instructors with developing learning outcomes based on action verbs grouped by Bloom’s revised taxonomy (http://salsa.usu.edu/syllabuses/vbfbbssnzzkbsknksyihrvnetmescx/edit#outcomes ).

As shown below, click “Outcomes” and expand “Bloom’s Revised”. On each level of Bloom’s Cognitive domain, a list of verbs is shown as highlighted. It will be very helpful as well when it comes to writing your specific learning objectives.
