Fall 2021 Hours
The LCC will be open virtually from Dec. 20, 2021 through Dec. 22nd, 202.
We will be closed for winter break: Dec. 23, 2021, through Jan. 2, 2022.
Guidelines for Visiting the LCC
- Step 1: Make sure you are wearing a mask. If you need a mask, just ask for one. Be sure to use hand sanitizer once you enter the LCC.
- Step 2: Scan In using the QR code before you enter the Maricela Alvarado lounge.
- Step 3: Have fun! If you have any questions or need assistance, ask a staff member.
All visitors to the LCC must comply with Purdue University’s policies regarding personal protective equipment.
Visitors who are exhibiting symptoms of a potential COVID-19 infection must follow Purdue University’s rules for testing and quarantining before they can return to the LCC.
We encourage you to view a virtual tour of the Latino Cultural Center. Please make sure to include as much information when you schedule your tour. For instance, target audience, lenghth of tour, who you would like to meet with.
Please ensure to include as much information when reserving space at the LCC. Space can only be reserved during hours of operation.
We still have all of your favorite snacks. Make sure to sanitize your hands before touching any of the items.
The microwave and toaster oven are still available to use. Make sure to sanitize hands, use, and clean any surfaces you touch while at the LCC. If you need to use the refrigerator to store your lunch, ask an LCC staff member for help!
Hand Sanitizer and Disinfectant Wipes
Hand sanitizer and disinfectant wipes are available throughout the LCC, and at every seating area. We ask that you sanitize, touch, disinfect every surface you use while at the LCC.
We have surgical masks available for our guests. We also have a limited supply of reusable cloth masks generously sewn and donated by the Lafayette Sewing Masks group.
