This standard defines the process for requesting new or changed hostnames for ITaP-hosted web sites.
Web Services is responsible for coordinating all hostname requests with the Purdue Hostmaster. Customers should contact Web Services for any such requests.
All requests for new or changed hostnames for ITaP-hosted web sites must be coordinated by Web Services. Some requests may require an email be sent from a dean, department head or person of similar standing for approval. Web Service will advise if this is necessary. Note that hostname changes may invalidate existing SSL certificates.
