TLCoP Jan. 25 session reviews Innovation Hub grant opportunities
All Purdue West Lafayette instructors, teaching assistants, staff, and students are invited to join the Teaching and Learning Community of Practice (TLCoP) online for its first session on Tuesday, Jan. 25, 10-11 a.m., to learn about upcoming Innovation Hub funding opportunities.
Ed Berger, the inaugural associate vice provost for Learning Innovation and director of the Innovation Hub, will discuss support for projects addressing teaching innovation and scalability. This session is an opportunity to ask questions, gather insights, identify potential partners and support systems, and brainstorm ideas with Berger and others across campus who may submit funding proposals.
Instructors who are doing something innovative in their teaching, want to share their ideas with others, strengthen their practices, and/or workshop ideas for grant proposals are especially encouraged to attend this session and those following:
Session 2: Centering Equity and Humanity in Our Teaching Monday, Feb. 28, 12 noon-1 p.m.
Session 3: Innovation Hub & Writing Across the Curriculum, Monday, April 4, 12 noon-1 p.m.
All three TLCoP sessions during the spring 2022 semester will be held online via Zoom, so please register for each. Further details on the community of practice and other TLCoP sessions this semester are available on the TLCoP website.
