have requested that their names and addresses be withheld. The content of the directory
is verified on a continuous basis and as a concerted effort at least every two years.
Food pantries and soup kitchens are indicated in the database. Here are the definitions of these terms:
- Food pantry: A non-profit organization that provides a variety of food free of charge to eligible individuals and households.
- Soup kitchen: A public or charitable institution with a clean and secure feeding operation that offers free, prepared meals to predominantly needy people on a regular basis.
