I was also able to attend the Purdue-Google AI Summit this past November, which was another opportunity in Indianapolis to learn and network.

What career field are you pursuing and why?

I’m interested in a variety of fields, including robotics, software development and machine learning engineering. I believe technology is how we grow as society and can improve lives at scale, which is what draws me to want to build in technology.

Are you part of any clubs or student activities? I’ll be presenting my research in Pasadena, California, this summer. I was able to lead the project from incubation to writing the paper. This has been an incredibly fun experience, especially as a freshman.

Outside of school and work, what are some of the things you enjoy about being in Indianapolis?

I enjoy visiting the zoo, taking morning walks by the canal, trying different restaurants, going to Indiana Pacers games and the skyscrapers.

What are you studying at Purdue?
