IDP Spring/Summer 2021 Safety Guidelines

IDP will be operating with limited in-person staffing at times this spring and summer and appreciate your patience as we adjust to the changes that remaining safe during Covid-19 demands.

We ask that you follow “Protect Purdue” guidelines by wearing a mask and maintaining social distancing.  A plexiglass barrier has been installed at the counter for safety and IDP staff regularly sanitize the area.  We ask that only one customer be at the counter at a time so please remain in the hallway while waiting your turn.

The Office of the Provost in the “Protect Purdue Guidance for In-Person Exams” directs that paper exams be quarantined for twenty-four hours following exam completion.  Instructors dropping off their paper exams will need to provide date and time of exam to show quarantine requirements have been met.  IDP will quarantine exams if necessary.    Our turnaround time, due to possible quarantine and limited staffing, will be 48 hours instead of the usual 24 hours.

Exams will not be quarantined during spring Final Exam week but we do ask that instructors minimize shared contact with paper or other materials (e.g., do not have students pass materials to one another) and wash hands or use hand sanitizer.  Please instruct students to do the same after handling paper or other materials. Should you have any questions or concerns, please contact IDP at idp@purdue.edu.
