Establish Individual Annual Performance Goals Using the Goals Management Worksheet

Purdue achieves its goals through the individual and collective efforts of its employees. It is important that all employees have defined measurable goals to help gauge performance. All executive, management, and professional level staff members must have goals assigned for each performance period. These goals must be entered in to SuccessFactorson or before March 31 of each year. All goals entered in SuccessFactors will appear on the annual evaluation, and will account for 50-75% of the executive, management, and professional levels annual evaluation rating. If you have existing performance goals and/or prefer not to utilize the goals worksheet, skip to Step 3 and enter the annual goals into SuccessFactors

Establish annual goals in three steps:

Step 1: Select a career-stream level on the table below to access the appropriate worksheet.

Step 2: Once in the worksheet, establish threshold, target, and stretch metrics, applicable start and end dates, and weighting for each goal. Total goal weighting should equal 100%.

Step 3: Upload your goals into SuccessFactors (watch 1 minute how-to video).
