Andy Chih

Andy Chih has more than four years of experience in the food manufacturing industry, with combined expertise in quality assurance and product development, backed by a bachelor of science in food science and technology from the University of California, Davis. He is seeking a position where he can lead using his experience in food safety, quality management and product development.

Dr. Zeynep Burcu Irfanoglu

Dr. Zeynep Burcu Irfanoglu received her PhD in agricultural economics at Purdue in December 2013. Her research interests are in multilateral environmental agreements; international trade; Computable General Equilibrium (CGE) modeling; greenhouse gas emissions database construction; and global food losses and wastes. For more than five years, she has been working with senior GTAP members and gained experience in STATA, GEMPACK, CGE modeling, developing , as well as updating and using large datasets. She is seeking a position where she can use her expertise in database construction and economic modelling while gaining new experiences.

Asefeh Kardgar

Asefeh Kardgar is a PhD student in technology at Purdue Polytechnic Institute, Purdue University. She completed two master’s programs, one in computer graphics technology (2014-2017) at Purdue University and the other one in linguistics (2009-2011) in Iran. She worked for five semesters as a teacher assistant for the undergraduate course of Design Thinking in Technology at Purdue Polytechnic Institute. Asefeh’s research interests are infographics and data visualization. She is seeking a position where she can using her linguistics and computer graphics expertise.

Ruth Rothstein

Ruth Rothstein is an emerging professional with a bachelor's degree in sociology from the University of California, Davis. Yunjeong Hong

Yun Jeong Hong was born in South Korea and received her bachelor of fine arts from Seoul Women's University in 2005 and her master’s of fine arts from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign in 2010. Her works involve writing, drawing, sculpture, installation, video and performance. Yun Jeong’s works have been shown internationally and included in several exhibitions. Apart from her studio practice, Yun Jeong curated an exhibition “Nomadic Fantasia-Indra's net (2011)” in Champaign, Illinois, of over five artists working on body and mind tracking as their research. In addition, she participated in an international artist symposium in Austria (2012) and Artist Residency of Center for Research and Creativity Casamarles (2011) in Spain. From 2014, Yun Jeong has served the Washington, DC art community as a member of the Artist Advisory Council. During 2015, Yun Jeong supervised a graduate student of curatorial practice at the Maryland Institute College of Art and designed two exhibitions related to homelessness in Baltimore and Rockville.

Craig Aldrich

Craig Aldrich has six years of experience as a laboratory technician in molecular biology and four years of experience in emergency veterinary medicine with a bachelor of science in biology. He is seeking a position that will utilize his lab experience in ways that also incorporate new technology and then implement that for the use of others outside a lab setting.

She also developed the website for Center of Religion and Chinese Society of Purdue University. Since 2010, she has been working as an adjunct faculty in School of Computing and Informatics at Ivy Tech Community College, teaching various levels of courses and labs, from introductory to intermediate levels, such as Software Development Using C++, Computer Math & Logic, Introduction to Software Development using Visual Basic, Informatics Fundamentals, and Introduction to Microcomputers, Linux Fundamentals and Java programming (Substitute). She is seeking a lecturer position at Purdue using her engineering and IT expertise.

Nélida Aubeneau

Nélida Aubeneau is hoping to bring her expertise to Purdue with 15 years of experience teaching Spanish at Northwestern University. She has designed and implemented entire course curricula, engineered placement evaluations and coordinated large courses running over 12 sections. Nélida was especially involved in designing a new Spanish for Heritage Speakers track at Northwestern, as well as in enhancing and refining an intermediate Spanish video program, and she received several grants to support her pedagogical endeavors and professional development. She was a technical coordinator for several courses and is an expert in Canvas and Blackboard systems.

Reiko Ileleji

Reiko Ileleji, Ph.D., has more than 10 years of teaching experiences in diverse school settings, including at United States universities and K-12 schools, as well as homeschooling and after school/weekend educational school programs in and outside of the United States. She is seeking a position where she can serve using her past teaching experiences as well as opportunities to participate in research to better our educational environments, such as faculty, instructional staff, post-doctoral research fellow (part-time or full-time) in education and/or liberal arts departments with regards to teaching and research.

Huai-Rhin Kim

Huai-Rhin Kim received a doctorate in speech and hearing science, a master’s in teaching English as an international language and a bachelor’s in linguistics, all from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She also received a Brain Korea (BK) 21 Plus postdoctoral research fellowship funded by the Ministry of Education in Korea. She has five years of teaching and research experience during her doctoral studies and her stay in Korea as a BK 21 Plus fellow. She has also worked as the director of a preschool and day care in Victoria. Huai-Rhin is seeking a position where she can teach and research in areas of bilingualism, bilingual language development for children with and without special needs and assessment for children with diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds.

Jing Wang

Jing Wang has been a J.L. Doob assistant professor in the department of mathematics at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign since August 2015. She was previously a postdoc fellow at the Institute for Mathematics and IT Applications, University of Minnesota after earning her PhD in mathematics from Purdue University in May 2014. She also earned her master’s in computational finance from Purdue University in May 2013. Her research is in the intersection of fields of probability and differential geometry. Jing Wang has taught finance courses at UIUC’s actuarial science program. She is seeking a tenure-track position where she can focus her research while keeping a good balance of teaching.

Yi Zhang

Yi Zhang holds a bachelor of science degree in information systems and has more than 10 years of technical and strategic experience in the IT security field focusing on risk assessments, information assurance, security assessments, controls compliance, audits, flaw remediation, and systems security architecture. Having planned and led teams of 15 individuals in multiple engagements supporting Fortune 100 companies and federal agencies, he is familiar with industry best practices/standards and has extensive experience in applying these practices and standards to operations.
