Ivy Tech of Lafayette
Length of time at CHL:
I have worked in the medical field since 2001 and came to the CHL in July of 2017. I worked as an MA (medical assistant) for a radiation oncologist for many years and also at a local hospital in the registration department.
What attracted you to your position at the CHL?
I was ready to have more of an administration roll in the medical genre and the CHL seemed like a perfect fit.
Why do you like working at the CHL?
I love the patients of course, but also the close relationships that I share with many of my co-workers.
We are a very busy clinic, and I am constantly learning how to improve my skills.
Philosophy of care:
I have always enjoyed working closely with patients and their families. I try to treat them the way I want to be treated when I go to the doctor. We have such a wide variety of services here, and I enjoy explaining this to our patients when given the opportunity.
What do you like to do when you’re not at the CHL?
I have three fantastic boys that I love spending time with. I enjoy reading and of course …all things PURDUE!!
Fun fact about me:
I am an avid racing fan and follow NASCAR and Formula 1. I can name all the drivers in both series and whom they drive for.
