A great value for office visits

The Center for Healthy Living brings you high-quality health care that’s affordable and convenient.

J-1 Visa Plan Participants

Faculty, staff, retirees and family members, age 8 weeks and older, who are covered on these plans are eligible for the following:

Premier Plan, Standard Plan and Limited Participants

Faculty, staff, retirees and family members, age 8 weeks and older, who are covered on these plans are eligible for the following:

  • Preventive care at no charge

  • Non-preventive care for a flat fee of $25, which applies to the deductible.
  • Sports physicals for a $25 flat fee (does not apply to the deductible)

Benefits-eligible employees who are not covered by a Purdue medical plan are eligible for preventive care, primary care and treatment of common illnesses for $25 per eligible service. A receipt that the employee may submit to his or her outside medical plan will be available at the center within seven to 10 days following the service. 

Graduate staff will continue to use PUSH for onsite health care services.

Payment options

  • The center accepts all major credit cards and debit cards, including health savings account (HSA) and flexible spending account (FSA) debit cards.
  • The center does not accept checks or cash.

No-cost wellness services

Purdue values its faculty and staff and wants to promote their good health and well-being. The University offers a wide range of wellness services through the Center for Healthy Living at no cost to benefits-eligible faculty and staff.

All benefits-eligible employees, regardless of medical plan participation, are eligible for the following services at no charge. Spouses and family members, age 8 weeks and older, covered on a Purdue medical plan are also eligible for these services at no charge.
