Do you want to start a fishpond in your backyard but do not know how? Do you have a fishpond that has weed or other problems? Are you struggling with how, when and what fish to use to stock your fishpond? Do you struggle with what to do about the yearly fish kills in your pond?

Then come join us on May 14th at 6pm at the fish pond of Bill and Tonya Broughton to listen to a fishpond specialist address most of the problems associated with fishponds and fishpond management. David Osborne, the Ripley County Extension Educator and CED has been working with fishponds and helping fishpond owners for over 20 years. Dave will moderate the workshop and take participants through the basics of fishpond management including stocking and harvesting needs, weed control and how to minimize fish kills in our ponds.

Registration

The workshop is FREE and opened to everyone. We will however need a minimum number of registrations to put it on. So please call the Clark County Extension office (812-256-4591) to register or send an email to skafari@Purdue.edu and request to be registered.
