On April 26, 2025 Purdue Extension Floyd County and Sunnyside Master Gardeners will host the 10th Annual Pollinator Day! This free, family-friendly event will be from 10:00 a.m.-3 p.m. on the lawn of the Purdue Research Park of Southeast Indiana (3000 Technology Ave., New Albany, IN 47150), weather permitting.
Classes will be held on Hummingbirds: Our Beautifully Feathered Pollinators and Bats: Nature’s Nocturnal Helpers.
Other activities include booths on Native Bees, Butterflies, Pollinators and Our Food Supply, Hummingbirds, Native Plants, Planting for Pollinators, Beeswax Lip Balm, a Pollinator Selfie Booth, Pollinator Games and much more.
Local vendors, including food trucks, will be onsite with pollinator-related merchandise. Please plan accordingly as there is no ATM on site.
