Ishraq Awashra and Grace Lentz (Dr. Thompson’s lab) presented our research at the Institute for a Sustainable Future 2nd Annual Research Expo on Monday, October 14th. Jean Zavala (Torres Lab) participated in the 2024 USDA AMS/GSS Local Food Economics Data Visualization at the AAEA Annual Meeting in New Orleans, where his team placed 3rd. He was also selected as a finalist in the Graduate Student Extension Competition and presented his research at the meeting.
