The Southwest Indiana Melon and Vegetable Growers Annual Meeting was held on Jan 20, 2023, in French Lick. The meeting is in conjunction with Illiana Watermelon Association Convention and attracts melon growers in southern Indiana and industry representatives across the country. Steve Meyers and the team presented Melon Weed Science Research Update at the meeting.
Ashley Adair presented “Organic Gardening and Composting” for the Wabash County Extension Hot Topics Series on January 19, 2023. Extension educators Geoff Schortgen, Courtney Schmidt, and Krista Pullen have done a great job promoting this series. Over 100 participants joined the Zoom call with lots of great discussion.
