If you have samples for sequencing on the Purdue Genomics Core Illumina HiSeq 2500 or MiSeq please bring them to WSLR (Whistler) S045 and ask for Paul, Viktoria or Allison to take your samples. Our hours are M-F 9AM-5PM. Feel free to call ahead (67368) to make sure someone will be there to accept your samples.

We accept total RNA (preferably >2ug/sample) for library construction using Illumina’s TruSeq Stranded mRNA Library Prep Kit to construct polyA+ libraries. Alternatively we can construct RNAseq libraries using a Ribominus-driven method to remove rRNA from your total RNA (preferably >1ug/sample) using one of Illumina’s TruSeq Stranded Total RNA Library Prep Kits.

We also accept total RNA (preferably >1ug/sample) for small RNA library construction.

We accept genomic DNA (preferably >1ug/sample) for DNAseq library construction using Illumina’s TruSeq DNA PCR-free Prep Kit.

We accept cDNA generated from a Fluidigm C1, such as that in Purdue’s Fluidigm C1 facillity, for Nextera library construction as directed in the Fluidigm C1 manual.
