Undergraduate Research

Experience a change of pace from formal classroom activities and gain skills applicable to both research and non-research careers. Studies show that students who engage in research are twice as likely to graduate, five-times more likely to go on to graduate school, and have more successful careers after graduation.

Lily Rosati Yoos

I am currently a sophomore in Health Sciences (Pre-Med Concentration) with a minor in Forensic Sciences and Human Development & Family Studies. My passion to serve my community and see those impacts first hand has led me to choose this career path. I am the Health and Human Sciences Liaison for the Undergraduate Research Society of Purdue (UGRSP). UGRSP strives to create a strong community of prospective, current, and past undergraduate researchers. Through this I aim to guide fellow students throughout their research experience. I am also involved in the Caduceus Club (Pre-Med Club) and A Kid Again on campus! I have just joined Dr. Aaron Bowman’s research team, which I am very excited about! Currently, we are studying the relationship between metal exposure and neurodevelopmental and neurodegenerative diseases. I am here to help current and prospective researchers in any way possible, and please don’t hesitate to reach out!
