HHS Intercultural learning initiatives aim at enhancing the outcomes of global education activities such as study abroad course and international exchange programs. The initiatives are built on the college's success in study abroad and championed by the faculty and staff who have led these programs and are passionate about integrating intercultural learning into their teaching. The number of HHS study abroad students has nearly doubled since the college was founded in 2010. About one-third of HHS undergraduate degree recipients have studied abroad at least once, exceeding the university average of all colleges. Just as they have championed the study abroad courses, our faculty and staff are actively developing knowledge and preparing themselves to meet the intercultural learning needs of HHS students. We are pleased to highlight and celebrate their accomplishments.
