Scholarship Information for Incoming First Year Students
University Merit Scholarships
Purdue University awards most of its merit scholarships to qualified incoming students based on academic information provided with admission applications that are complete by November 1. A complete admissions application includes all required material including ACT or SAT test score (including writing), high school transcript, and application fee.
November 1, is a priority deadline to apply for admission in order to be considered for Purdue's largest merit scholarship awards, the Trustee and Presidential scholarships.
College of Health & Human Sciences Scholarship Opportunities
Incoming first year students are highly encouraged to complete the HHS/Purdue Scholarship Application for full consideration for scholarship opportunities. The deadline to apply is December 15. The application will close on this date; therefore, students should plan to complete the scholarship process well in advance of the deadline to prevent issues with submission of the application.

Other University Scholarships and Financial Aid
Need-based scholarships grants, loans, and work-study programs are available through the Division of Financial Aid. To maximize consideration for all federal, state and institutional funds, students should file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by December 15. Applications completed after this date may result in student ineligibility for certain types of financial aid.
The first round of HHS Scholarship Awarding for admitted first year student notifications begin in mid-February of each year. Any additional/secondary awarding will take place after May 1st.
