SLHS Research Registry

Purdue Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences is looking for adults and children to take part in our research!

Researchers in our department study how people of all ages hear, speak, and understand language.   This research seeks to advance our general understanding of how individuals communicate and also help individuals who struggle in these areas.  

Who can sign up:

We rely on many members of our community to take part including:

Healthy adults and children of all ages

Individuals with concerns or disorders that affect their ability to speak, hear, swallow or communicate. 

How to sign up:

When you click on the appropriate link below (adult vs. child), you will be asked to provide some basic information so we can contact you with studies that are a good match for you.   By signing up for this registry you are simply indicating you are interested in hearing about research opportunities.  When a researcher contacts you, you can make a decision to participate or not at that time.  You can always ask to leave the registry at any time by emailing SLHSRegistry@purdue.edu or calling (765) 494-4229.
