Jaime Bauer Malandraki is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences at Purdue University. She received her bachelor’s degree from Portland State University and her master’s degree from University of Wisconsin-Madison. Her primary clinical and research interests lie in the evaluation and management of swallowing disorders across the lifespan. She has particular interests in the areas of head and neck cancer, neurodegenerative conditions, graduate student education, and patient counseling. She also serves as the Clinical Director of the Imaging, Evaluation and Treatment (I-EaT) Swallowing Research Clinic which provides comprehensive, holistic assessment and treatment to patients with complex dysphagia.

Professor Bauer Malandraki holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), professional licensure from the state of Indiana, and is a Board Certified Specialist in Swallowing and Swallowing Disorders (BCS-S). She currently serves on the Board of the American Board of Swallowing and Swallowing Disorders (ABSSD).
