International students

English Proficiency testing is required for international applicants. It will be waived for applicants who have received a baccalaureate, graduate, or professional degree (within 36 months before admission), from a school where English is the primary language of instruction in a country/location where English is the native language. Non-native English speakers must submit TOEFL or IELTS test scores that are less than two years old.

Documents required by country are listed on the Purdue Graduate School website. International students must also provide official transcripts from all universities attended in the original language as well as an English translation for transcripts and diplomas not in English. English translations must be certified by the college or university which issued it.
