My name is Rachaline Napier and I am excited to be your partner in learning. My qualifications include a BS in Biology, MPH and DrPH with a concentration on Epidemiology.
I have worked at both state and local public health agencies holding such positions as Environmental Health Epidemiologist, Communicable Disease Epidemiologist, Public Health Program Manager, Bioterrorism Coordinator for the City, Research Specialist, Public Health Program Evaluation Coordinator and Adjunct Professor for Community and Public Health courses. As an Epidemiologist, I have also had the opportunity to investigate many foodborne illness and communicable disease outbreaks, which included working with the CDC on a large-scale communicable disease outbreak. I am also an APHA member and have presented at the annual conference (oral and poster presentation).
As a public health professional, I hope to contribute to the academic preparation of people who are interested in making a difference in the health of their communities.
