Information for the 19th Annual Psychology Undergraduate Research Conference

Psychological Sciences Undergraduates:

The 2021 Department of Psychological Sciences Undergraduate Research Conference will be held as a virtual conference on Wednesday, April 21, from 1:00-3:00pm. If you are working on a research project with a faculty member in Psychological Sciences and would like to participate in the conference, you are encouraged to discuss with your faculty advisor the possibility of submitting a poster. This year’s virtual conference structure will require participants to submit a PDF of the poster and a 5-10 minute voiceover PowerPoint video walkthrough of the poster by 12:00 noon Wednesday, April 14. On the day of the conference presenters will be assigned a short window (20-30 minutes, depending on number of presenters) within the overall two-hour conference, during which you will appear live via Zoom to discuss your poster and to take questions about your research.

Please submit a title and abstract to Becky Pittman ( by 12:00 noon Wednesday, April 7 (please note: your poster does not have to be completed by that date). She cannot accept any title/abstract submissions after this deadline. If you are a student currently enrolled in the Research-Focused Honors Program, please indicate that you are an RFHP presenter when you email your information. We will make note of that in the program.
