Meg is a Clinical Assistant Professor with nearly 10 years of clinical practice experience.  She has been working as a pediatric nurse practitioner in primary care for the past 6 years; prior to that, she was a pulmonary nurse at Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis.  She has experience as a teaching assistant and clinical instructor with the Purdue School of Nursing.

Meg and her husband, Derrek, have 3 young boys.  She enjoys running and spending time with her crazy family.  She is excited to spark a love of pediatrics in future nurses, and she is thrilled about teaching at her alma mater.

Area(s) of Specialization

Pediatric nursing/primary care and disease prevention: I have a passion for maternal-child health and addressing maternal concerns from a pediatric standpoint. I also believe in the importance of teaching future pediatric nurses/pediatric nurse practitioners the importance of what we can do to keep kids from getting sick or hurt.
