  • BA Butler University
  • MBA Butler University
  • BSN Marian University

Rebecca received her undergraduate degree in Spanish in 2004 and an MBA in 2010 from Butler University.

After receiving her bachelor degree she took a management position at AT&T in Chicago, IL. It was only after her son was admitted to the NICU shortly after birth in 2007 that she realized she was passionate about nursing.  Because of this new found passion, in 2008 she accepted a position as a Spanish Interpreter at the hospital as she began her RN studies and continued in this position until 2017.  She received her Registered Nurse License from Marian University in 2012 and took her first nursing job at Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital. Since 2012 Rebecca has worked primarily as an RN in either Pediatric or Emergency Room settings.

It was while nursing in Pediatrics that Rebecca realized she had a true drive to help others in their path to becoming a nurse. She began as a Limited Term Lecturer for Pediatrics in 2015 and is now a Continuing Lecturer with a focus on Fundamentals and Pediatric Nursing.

Rebecca is married to her college sweetheart and has three beautiful children. She loves to be with her family, read and travel.
