Evans Appiah Osei overcame major obstacles before thriving in the Purdue University School of Nursing. Studying by lantern light as a child, Osei is now a PhD student that led a session on \u201cPalliative and End of Life Care for Gynecologic Malignancies\u201d at the 2025 Ghanaian Diaspora Nursing Alliance and World Continuing Education Alliance conferences this summer.
