Remove Your Standard Registrar Holds:
The Registrar placed their standard information-gathering holds on your account.  These holds are to asking you to Update your Emergency Contact and to Accept Financial Responsibility.   In order to make any edits to your fall 2021 schedule or register for spring 2022 courses, you will need to remove these holds.  

Steps to Clear the standard Registrar Holds:

  • Go to
  • Select Registration
  • Click on Do I have Any Holds?
  • The next screen will have quick links across the bottom:  Click Affirmance of Financial Responsibility.
  • Read this information and scroll to the bottom; enter your name & last 4 digits of PUID and Submit.
  • Go back to the myPurdue Registration tab
  • Again, click on Do I have Any Holds?
  • The next screen will have quick links across the bottom:  Click Update Emergency Contacts
  • The current contacts will appear. If they are correct, click VERIFY.
  • This should remove the two (2) standard Spring 2022 registration Holds.  Go back to the myPurdue Registration tab and click Do I have Any Holds? to verify that they Holds have been cleared.

Good news!  All accepted Purdue-WL students who are currently slated to participate in Fall 2021 and Academic Year 2021-22 study abroad programs have been affirmed to continue their planning; this is contingent that they fully complete a COVID-19 vaccination in advance of departure and have their vaccination records on-file with the Protect Purdue Health Center.  Watch for more programs to open soon!
