Kinesiology with Sports Medicine Concentration

As a Kinesiology major, students have the option to pursue the Sports Medicine Concentration. This concentration supplies students with athletic training fieldwork opportunities in collegiate, secondary school, and clinic/industry settings. The goal of the program is to prepare students with the coursework and experience necessary to apply for the Purdue University Master of Science in Athletic Training (coming Fall 2022). Completion of the Sports Medicine concentration does not guarantee admission to the Purdue MSAT program. Some students will choose to pursue other graduate or professional school options (physical therapy (PT), occupational therapy (OT), physician assistant (PA), etc.).
