Students from the Motor Behavior Group Mitchell, Chuyi,\u00a0HyeYoung and Zihan<\/strong> presented their work at the American Society of Biomechanics (ASB)<\/strong> 42nd conference held at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, in August 2018.<\/p>\n

Mitchell Tillman\u00a0<\/strong>recently graduated with his Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from Purdue.\u00a0Congratulations Mitchell!\u00a0<\/strong><\/span>He presented his research on “Mechanisms of preparation for task switching in a finger force production task”<\/strong>\u00a0<\/em>[Poster<\/a>] [Abstract<\/a>].<\/p>\n

Mitchell is gearing up for his Master’s in Biomechanics at Purdue. He plans to finish his degree in one year. He is working with Dr. Ambike.<\/p>\n

Chuyi Cui<\/strong> presented her work on “Lower limb joint angle variance as a function of obstacle height during obstacle crossing”<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0[Poster<\/a>][Abstract<\/a>]. Chuyi works with Dr. Rietdyk and Dr. Ambike.<\/p>\n

Chuyi was selected as a finalist for the Doctoral Competition<\/strong><\/em> at this national-level ASB conference. Her abstract was one among the 12 selected out about 680 submissions.<\/p>\n

HyeYoung Cho<\/strong> presented her work on “<\/strong>Young adults are surprisingly bad at walking: Sex differences in the circumstances associated with falls<\/strong>“<\/strong><\/em> [Abstract<\/a>]. HyeYoung works with Dr. Rietdyk.<\/p>\n
