The Policy Institute for Family Impact Seminars is proud to welcome Kentucky and Missouri to our policy network. Affiliates from these two states attended a training in Madison, WI on October 13th and 14th along-side new affilliates from the existing sites of Louisiana and Indiana to learn how to conduct Family Impact Seminars.

United Nations observes the International Day of Families on May 12

The Division for Social Policy and Development supports the worldwide observance of the International Day of Families (15 May) by preparing background information on the family for use by Governments, the UN system, including the regional commissions, and UN Information Centres and NGOs. An annual message of the Secretary-General is prepared for wide distribution.
