Evaluating School Funding Formulas Checklist: What Questions Should Legislators Ask?

The Evaluating School Funding Formulas Checklist raises important issues that can help legislators sort out how well legislative proposals meet the goals of education in Wisconsin; how compatible they are with Wisconsin’s history of funding elementary and secondary schools; how responsive they are to the demographic characteristics of Wisconsin students, families, and communities; and how appropriate they are given the state’s available resources.

Five More Sites Join Our Network!

The Policy Institute for Family Impact Seminars is proud to welcome five states to our policy network. These new sites, in Arizona, Illinois, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Pennsylvania, join existing sites in California, the District of Columbia, Georgia, Indiana, Maryland, Michigan, Mississippi, Nebraska, New York, Ohio, Oregon, and Wisconsin, to help bring the Family Impact Seminar model to policymakers and professionals around the country.
