The Georgia Family Impact Seminars are not currently an active site of the Family Impact Institute, but hold alumni status. They were formerly directed by Don Bower of the College of Family and Consumer Sciences at the University of Georgia and Janet Bittner of the Carl Vinson Institute of Government at the University of Georgia with help from Ted Futris, also from the College of Family and Consumer Sciences at the University of Georgia.
