  • Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential

I have completed a CDA in preschool education and have had the privilege of working with children since I was in high school. I have served as an aide, assistant, and lead in classrooms between infancy and preschool age.

I love the unique joy of getting to know each family's personality and culture. The partnership formed with each parent as we work together in their child's best interest is irreplaceable. My favorite place in the classroom is the art table. It's truly fascinating to witness the ingenuity in each child as they create. I believe process-oriented and open-ended activities are essential for a child's development of countless skills (and lifelong confidence) at this age. Outside of the classroom, I enjoy spending time outdoors, being with animals, cooking and do-it-yourself projects of all kinds. Family is important to me and I spend a lot of time with them!
