The new Work and Family Researchers Network (WFRN) is an international membership organization of interdisciplinary work and family researchers. The WFRN also welcomes the participation of policy makers and practitioners as it seeks to promote knowledge and understanding of work and family issues among the community of global stakeholders.
The WFRN facilitates virtual and face-to-face interaction among work and family researchers from a broad range of fields and engages the next generation of work and family scholars. As a global hub, WRFN provides opportunities for information sharing and networking via our website, which includes the only open access work and family subject matter repository, the Work and Family Commons.
Your support will help to advance, promote, and preserve interdisciplinary work and family scholarship and move the field forward.
The Work and Family Researchers Network was formed in response to the need for a membership association of interdisciplinary work and family scholars. Unique among professional societies, the WFRN provides an online peer-community with tools to strengthen connections between the global audience interested in work and family.
You can connect with your work and family colleagues from around the world online and in person at our conference.
Search our open access subject matter repository, the Work and Family Commons, stay current with the latest news via the News Feed, and learn about upcoming events on the Calendar. Membership is not needed to access these resources, but we invite you to join us and enjoy all the benefits of membership.
Share your original research via our open access subject matter repository, the Work and Family Commons, keep WFRN updated on the latest news of interest via our News Feed, and post events on our Calendar. Members can take a leadership role in the work and family community by joining a committee or serving as an elected officer.
The new Work and Family Researchers Network carries on the legacy of the Sloan Work and Family Research Network. The Sloan Network was the premier online destination for work and family research for 14 years. Resources previously provided by the Sloan Work and Family Research Network are located in an Archive on the new site and available to you. One of the changes from the former Sloan Network to the WFRN is the transformation from a staff-driven enterprise to a member driven one.
