The Longitudinal Studies of Aging is a collaborative project of the National Center for Health Statistics and National Institute on Aging. It is a multi-cohort study of people ages 70 and older designed primarily to measure changes in the health, functional status, living arrangements, and health services utilization of two cohorts of Americans as they move into and through the oldest ages.
