Clinical Applications for future Medical Professionals

Available to rising high school juniors and seniors summer 2019

It takes a team to provide health care. In college athletics Purdue and IU may be competitors, but when it comes to outreach of health sciences and medical school activities, we are on the same team.

High school students participating in C.A.M.P. will explore health care professions through hands-on learning. Students will experience health science and medical school projects such as animal heart dissections, medical simulations, and exercise science. The Purdue University College of Health and Human Sciences and the Indiana University School of Medicine-West Lafayette have partnered to present this unique, collaborative event.

C.A.M.P. will take place Monday through Wednesday, July 22-24, 2019, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

C.A.M.P Counselors

Six current students from the College of Health and Human Sciences at Purdue University will serve as counselors throughout C.A.M.P. All academic sessions will be taught by faculty from the College of Health and Human Sciences and the Indiana University School of Medicine-West Lafayette.

Participation in the three-day C.A.M.P. requires a $150 fee, which includes meals and activities. In order to reduce the cost of participating, partial "camperships" may be available to qualified applicants who demonstrate financial need. Fees are due at the time of registration; there is no cost to apply.

Students and families are responsible for providing transportation to and from C.A.M.P. each day. Bussing may be available from locations not yet determined.
