Venues - Slayter Center

Venue Accommodations and Policies

General seating
Slayter Center has open lawn seating. Space is available on a first-come, first-served basis for most events.

Food, Beverages, and Smoking
Food and non-alcoholic beverages are allowed at Slayter Center. Effective July1, 2010, smoking is only allowed in designated areas of the Purdue University campus. The nearest area can be found between Owen Hall and Ford Dining Court. Map of designated smoking areas.

Restrooms
Restroom facilities are located below the stage and for some events are closed to the public. During these events, restroom facilities are typically placed near the venue.

Animals
During large events only service animals are allowed.

Lawn Chairs
Lawn chairs are allowed at Slayter Center. Please be courteous to those around you when setting up your lawn chairs. Parts of the lawn have a slope where lawn chairs will not work well.

Parking
There is a small parking lot at the top of the hill. For large events parking is available in near by lots and garages.
