The Hall of Music is a learning center for education, enlightenment, and entertainment through the events we host and/or produce. We challenge ourselves to create, support, transmit, and preserve knowledge through the work that we do.
We strive for excellence and continuous improvement in all that we do. Excellence incorporates creativity, change, and innovation in order to engage and serve our clients.
We seek to create a climate of caring. We strive to improve the quality of the employee’s work life and we demonstrate through action a commitment to the health, welfare, and education of employees.
We desire to build a collaborative organization. We will provide opportunities to develop personal and professional relationships and will actively support partnerships and joint ventures. We purposefully find ways to develop a healthy reliance on others within and outside of the organization.
We will develop inspired leadership by identifying and utilizing the unique talents of individuals. We will create an organization that pushes decision-making and responsibility to the lowest level. We encourage learning, teaching, coaching, and mentoring.
We will focus on continuous learning as we anticipate knowledge and skills needed for continued success. We will provide learning opportunities and encourage personal and professional growth.
Trust and trustworthiness must characterize our words and actions. We will demonstrate honesty and ethical behavior in the performance of our work.
Genuine caring among individuals fosters diverse viewpoints and opinions. We will show that the skills and capabilities of all parties are valued and appreciated. We will preserve the dignity of others as an indicative sign of mutual respect.
We accept the challenges and opportunities of our work and strive for improvement. We pledge to make wise use of the resources made available to us, including financial, time, ability, equipment, and facilities. We understand that “wise use” includes the traits of being efficient, safe, fiscally sound, and worthwhile.
We will be proactive in advancing the interests of diverse populations and cultures and are committed to breaking down barriers associated with race, gender, physical abilities, economic standing, and social status.
