Why did you choose Purdue?

Purdue provided the ideal graduate experience where I can pursue my dreams as well as become a positive role model for my community.

What is your favorite fact about Purdue?

It allows you to interact with undergraduate students in the classroom and work in state of the art facilities while developing your own skill-sets.

Career goal?

To become a successful researcher at a Pharmaceutical company.

Please briefly describe your research:

My research focuses on the study of a newly discovered family of protein that are defined by the presence of a 'Fic domain'. I am interested in understanding their role in bacterial parthenogenesis and characterizing their enzymatic activity.

What’s your workspace setup?

Office area with each person having their own desk.

If you have free time, how do you choose to spend it?

Watching movies and talking to family and friends.

What’s the best advice you’ve ever received?

You are capable of more than you know. Don't ever let doubts and fears block you from impacting the world and achieving your full potential.
