PULSe Spring Reception

Every year PULSe hosts an awards reception featuring posters presented by first-year PULSe students of research done in one of their lab rotations.  First year research posters are judged by a panel of current students based on the quality of the research presented, along with the poster's overall design, to select the winners of the First-Year Poster Awards.  In addition, the PULSe Spring Reception features the recognition of the winners of the PULSe Student Awards, including a Keynote presentation from that year’s “Outstanding Graduate Student in Research.”

The Office of Interdisciplinary Graduate Programs (OIGP)

The OIGP’s Initiative for Diversity and Inclusion (IDI) hosts events throughout the school year, including focus groups, social media engagement, and programmatic events such as food-for-thought sessions, seminars, and panels.  The IDI serves as a forum for furthering a scholarly and social exchange of ideas for those students in interdisciplinary graduate programs at Purdue. The IDI plans to engage graduate students, organizations, and centers from across campus in endeavors to further its interdisciplinary reach and to expand the diverse and inclusive goals guiding the initiative.

OIGP Spring Reception

Every year OIGP hosts a Spring Reception in celebration of interdisciplinary graduate student research. At the reception, a diverse array of student research posters and multimedia presentations are featured from across Purdue's 17 interdisciplinary graduate programs.
