Required Supporting Documents


Master's Degree Program Requirements


  • Undergraduate Cumulative Grade Point Average:
    • 3.0 or equivalent
  • Twenty-four or more undergraduate hours of history courses is expected.

Doctoral Degree Program Requirements


  • Undergraduate Cumulative Grade Point Average:
    • 3.0 or equivalent
  • Master's Degree Completion Required with Cumulative Grade Point Average:
    • 3.0 or equivalent

Application Deadlines


  • Fall Spring Summer
    April 1* September 1 No Entry

  • *December 1 is the deadline for all applicants seeking financial support.

  • Current master's students wishing to move to a doctoral degree program in this same graduate program will not be required to submit a new application.
