National Labs @ Purdue Days

November 6th - 7th, 2018

National Labs Day @ Purdue is specifically designed for  undergraduate students, graduate students and postdoctoral fellows interested in careers at national laboratories and federally funded research and development centers across the United States.

NL@P  will feature a Career Fair, Tech Talks, Information Sessions and Professional Development workshops including:

  • “Ace Your Interview at a National Lab” - A professional development workshop by Jonell Samberson, PhD of Sandia National Laboratory!
  • “An Overview of the Statistical Sciences Capabilities at Sandia - Justin Newcomer, PhD / Application of Human Factors Across Sandia's Mission Space” - Nicole Murchison, PhD of Sandia National Laboratories.
  • “Metrics and Tools for Sustainable Buildings” – A technical presentation by Eric O'Rear, PhD - National Institute of Standards and Technology.
  • Information Sessions from Lawrence Livermore National Laboratories, Sandia National Laboratory, National Institute for Standards Technology, Argonne National Labs...
  • Panel Discussion with question/answer session - representatives from each participating lab
