Student Frequently Asked Questions

How is the 2020 Big Ten Grad School Expo adjusting to a Virtual Experience?

Since we can't meet face-to-face this year, we are bringing the opportunity to explore graduate school to you. This event website will be transformed into a Virtual Experience for you to learn about the graduate school application process through workshops and helpful resources as well as connect with top-ranked Purdue programs and other institutions, including Big Ten and Ivy League.

How do I register for the 2020 Grad Expo?

Registration for the 2020 Grad Expo Virtual Experience will be free for students! Once the event goes live, you will need to register in order to enter the site. We will provide more details as they become available. We look forward to meeting you virtually!

I attended the Grad Expo last year and would like to attend again this year. Can I participate in the Grad Expo more than once?

If you attended the Grad Expo in the past, you may attend in the future.

Application Fee Waiver

I saw that if I attend the Grad Expo, I can have my Purdue Graduate School application fee waived. If I have already applied to Purdue's Graduate School, can my application fee be reimbursed if I attend the Grad Expo?

Unfortunately, it is not possible to reimburse application fees. In order to qualify for the application fee waiver, you must attend the Grad Expo first and then apply for graduate admission at Purdue. Instructions for receiving the application fee waiver will be e-mailed after the event to everyone who attended the Grad Expo. Note that students who register for the Expo but do not attend are not eligible for the application fee waiver.
