Graduate School Incentive Grant

The Graduate School Incentive Grant is designed for students who apply for multiyear fellowships with institutions outside Purdue. The Fellowship Office maintains a list of eligible fellowship competitions and encourages application. The award limit is one per student per year, and it is not contingent on earning the fellowing.

Support details and timeline information are as follows:

Support

  • $250 for applications to external multiyear fellowship programs.
  • $100 for applications to external dissertation fellowship programs.

Timeline

Fall:         Application deadline: December, 2018        Award notification: Mid-December

Spring:    Application deadline: March 29, 2019          Award notification: Early April

 

Applications for the Incentive Grant are closed for the 2018-2019 academic year. 

Frederick N. Andrews Environmental Travel Grant

The Frederick N. Andrews Environmental Travel Grant is designed for degree-seeking students enrolled in a graduate program who are researching various means of improving the global environment.

Support details and timeline information are as follows:

  • $1,500 travel and research grant.

Timeline

  • Application deadline: October 11, 2018
  • Award notification: November.

Applications for the Andrews Environmental Grant are closed for the 2018-2019 academic year. 

Russell O. Blosser Environmental Travel Grant

The Russell O. Blosser Environmental Travel Grant is designed to support graduate students majoring in an area of environmental sciences, with preference given to students affiliated with the Chi Chapter of Kappa Sigma fraternity.

Support details and timeline information are as follows:

  • $1,500 travel and research grant.

Timeline

  • Application deadline: October 11, 2018
  • Award notification: November.

Applications for the Blosser Environmental Grant are closed for the 2018-2019 academic year. 

 

A.H. Ismail Interdisciplinary Graduate School Grant 

The A.H. Ismail Interdisciplinary Graduate School Grant is designed to provide travel support for doctoral students in interdisciplinary programs who are presenting their doctoral research at a national or international conference.

Support details and timeline information are as follows:

Support

  • Travel reimbursement (actual amount dependent upon destination and endowment distribution).

Timeline

  • Application deadline: October 11, 2018
  • Award notification: November.
