Graduate Diversity Open House

This event features live sessions, on-demand webinars, and videos.

Welcome to Purdue University Graduate School!

When I became Dean of the Graduate School, I made a commitment to advocate, support, diversify, and change graduate education for the better.  Over the past year, it has been obvious that higher education needs to do more to work toward systemic change, inclusivity, and equity in graduate education. This change starts with increasing the number of underrepresented minority students and faculty members in higher education and working to cultivate an inclusive community, in which students and faculty can continue to thrive and strive for excellence.  Learn more about my promise and plan at: Our Commitment to Social Justice: A message from Dean Linda Mason.

This year’s virtual Graduate Diversity Open House is designed to help you successfully prepare a graduate application for Purdue University! I encourage you to take advantage of this event by taking part in professional development workshops, engaging with graduate students, and learning how to succcessfully put together a graduate application.

We understand that diversity is our strength. That is why we are committed to supporting underrepresented graduate students. The ground-breaking research for which Purdue University is famous could not be realized without you. Your perspectives and experiences are invaluable and necessary for the growth of higher education.

It is for this reason that I hope you will consider Purdue University Graduate School when taking your next giant leap!
