Research Title:

Bioinformatics

Research Description:

My research is in the field of Bioinformatics. Specially, I work on developing computational tools to mine biological/biomedical big data. Nowadays, the amount of biological data has been growing dramatically. Especially with the technology of next generation sequencing, we see more and more new data every day. My research focuses on modeling / finding the hidden patterns within those data for building new tools / methods which can be used for future data mining. I work specially on biological sequence data, and I mainly use machine learning & data mining algorithms from the field of computer science and statistics.

Why CIGP?

After my graduation, I would like to work as a data scientist in industry. I like working with data. I enjoying gaining insight from data to drive more efficient work, to build better products, to help make the world better.
