Research Title:

Computational Modeling of Convection Effects In Freeze-Drying

Research Description:

Vacuum freeze drying is the process of removal of water from various products. The method has been developed and is in use for a long time. I am interested in trying to understand the mechanism of heat transfer in the process and whether convection plays a role. In this process, i am also looking at the limits of equipments used to help in designing a recipe for freeze-drying.

About Me:

When I am not working, I like to spend time reading or catching up on the news. I am interested in different engineering projects that students keep on working at Purdue. One such project that i have been involved in is with Purdue’s Hyperloop team, where we are designing our own pod.
