Office of Future Engineers

The Office of Future Engineers aspire to inspire middle school through high school students to consider engineering as a career and is dedicated to recruiting a diverse and academically gifted student body to the First-Year Engineering (FYE) program at Purdue University.

The Office of Future Engineers vision is to develop as a hub for student’s middle school through high school exploring engineering careers. In partnership with the School of Engineering Education, as well as others entity’s on campus branding a “Purdue” package of engineering career exploration. This will connect us to students globally at a much younger age and create more interest in Purdue as students’ transition into college selection. It will also inspire more students to consider engineering careers. This would be the first model of its kind in the country charting a course for “Blue Ocean”.  Like OWL (Purdue online writing lab) is synonymous with grammar help all over the world we want OFE to be synonymous with engineering career exploration.
