First-Year Engineering

The School of Engineering Education's First-Year Engineering Program is the entry point for all beginning engineering students. The mission of this student-oriented program is to recruit, advise, teach, and retain outstanding students for Purdue's College of Engineering. First-year engineering classes are taught in Purdue's i2i Learning Laboratory which offers an innovative and hands-on learning environment to prepare first-year engineering students for real world challenges.

Engineering Majors at Purdue

The College of Engineering offers 16 different disciplines in engineering that are as diverse as the students taking them, and prepare students for a limitless range of careers. After completing the requirements for the First-Year Engineering Program, you will be better prepared to transition into one of the many engineering majors offered at Purdue. Five Year Undergraduate/Graduate Programs

Bachelor and Master of Ag Bio Engineering

ABE has created a new dual degree B.S./M.S. program for students who are interested in biological engineering and advanced biotechnology.

Bachelor of Industrial Engineering and Master of Business

Interested in industrial engineering and think you might want to pursue a master's degree as well? Now you can do both concurrently in Purdue's joint BSIE/MBA Program.

Bachelor and Master of Biomedical Engineering

The combined BSBME/MSBME is a special program for current Weldon School undergraduates who have established research relationships with faculty members and who wish to extend their preparation for PhD-level graduate studies or research-oriented industry positions. Students complete the BS and MS in five, rather than the typical six, years.

Bachelor and Master of Mechanical Engineering
